Hermle 35066-000132 - - Classic Wall Clocks

A Hermle watch in the classic ship's porthole design. The numeral circle is divided to the minute. With a diameter of 18 cm, the time can be read without any problems. The Brequet hands provide the best contrast. In seafaring, in addition to the chronometer and the sextant, the hourglass in the glass was indispensable. This developed into the Glasen Schlagwerk ship clock. Every 30 minutes, the clock strikes 1 glass more. With 8 glasses, 4 hours have passed and the guard has been changed at 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24 o'clock. The ship's clock has a high precision. Since the mechanical movement 0132 is regulated by an escapement group, the so-called Echappement. The escape wheel, the lever and the balance wheel are mounted as a single assembly and are screwed to the gear train.
