The Hermle Grandfather Clock (Monthly Runner) is 185 cm high, 32 cm wide and has a depth of 18 cm. It has a white dial, which is divided into three areas. The central focus is on the minute range. It consists of a large hand that shows the minutes on the outermost area of the dial. The minutes are written in increments of five from 5 to 60; There are dashes in between. The second area shows, with a larger hand, the seconds. Seconds 60 and 30 are marked by large lines. The seconds 10, 20, 40 and 50 are written between the large lines. The seconds 5, 15, 25, 35, 45 and 55 are indicated by smaller strokes. The rest is marked with very small strokes. The seconds range is in the upper part of the minute range. The third area shows the hours with a small hand. Hours 12, 3, 6 and 9 are written out in a number circle, the rest is marked with linesThe inner surface of the hour area is transparent and reveals a gold-coloured cogwheel, which is part of the movement. Numbers, hands and markings are black. This watch has a ruby bearing set in bronze chátons and a silver-coloured pendulum with a pendulum lens for temperature compensation.
