The concept behind it
The developers of the Jacques Farel Hayfield Collection have put a lot of passion into their project. They have not only created watches that impress with their appearance, but also with what is behind the idea!
As it is not possible to prevent all the CO2 emissions caused by the production and transportation of Jacques Farel Hayfield, the manufacturer compensates the emissions with every watch through the internationally recognized, non-profit organization myclimate. With their projects, they not only reduce climate-damaging greenhouse gases, but they also promote sustainable development locally and regionally.
Three Jacques Farel Hayfield Watches
The walnut wood that is used for one of our watches of the week, is FSC-certified and comes from the best cultivation. This FSC-sign symbol stands for transparency and credibility and ensures that humans and nature are treated fairly. After punching, refining and drilling holes in wood for the casing-ring, it is sealed and covered with varnish that protects the wood from moisture and dryness.
This is the ORM 2003, which, in addition to the casing ring made of walnut wood, also has a green leather strap and a green dial. The case is a silver-colored stainless-steel case. Moreover, the dial features wooden chronographs.
Also, the leather strap of the watches of the week is made of natural German eco-leather. The colors of the straps are free of any heavy metals and without chrome. The International Association of Natural Textiles (IVN), the Association of Organic Agriculture and the ECARF (European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation) have certified all dyes according to environmental and health compatibility.
The model ORM 2004 has a light brown leather strap and a light brown dial. Here, the cases are also made of silver-colored stainless steel and the casing ring is made of walnut wood. The silver-colored index and the chronographs, made of wood, characterize this model.
This dial is black with a silver-colored line index and beige hands. There is an Arabic twelve on it. In addition, the minutes or seconds are shown in Arabic figures below the line index; a strong contrast to the beige wooden chronographs. In addition to that, the ORM 2002 has a black leather strap and a dark brown casing ring.
The watch has a quartz movement and is water resistant 5 atm.
